cold sorc question

if i'm facing a cold immune monster..but i have maxed cold mastery...do my cold attacks still dmg the cold immune monsters? cuz the mastery is suppsoed to lower the cold resist of enemies
What is this!?! A center for ants!?

I'm all but positive that cold mastery doesn't help against cold immune monsters.

well..what about when u use ormus/ 5/5 cold facet...will that still help against cold immune monsters..or is there nothing a cold sorc can do against cold immune (besides getting a merc)

The monster is cold IMMUNE you got no chance except for a merc.

IM not so sure about that Because i kill immune to physical monstars with my Bowazon and she has no elemental damage.

The thing is, you can't even compare that. Either it was some freak occurance, or you do have elemental or magic damage. You don't have anything that lowers the resists of enemies.
