How The Computer Helped Me Last Week

Today I will tell you, what I did last week,
From 3-6pm, there was nothing to do,
Games, Internet and chatting are what I enjoy;
Weekdays and sometimes weekends too.

A computer may help you with science or math,
An important invention, from all creations,
It helped me pass time when I was bored,
Doing that essay and those documentations.

It was Monday, the week had started,
I picked a few games, that I chose to play.
Like Diablo 2, Warcraft and Counter-Strike,
But then I stopped to start that English essay.

Then came Tuesday, I decided to download a song,
Which can be done through the Internet.
I shared some pictures and read emails,
Yet that essay bothering me, made me disconnect.

Wednesday was here; I was half way there,
I started chatting with a few friends, about that essay
They too were having problems,
About those documentation rules, that you can’t disobey

Its Thursday, “the paper is due tomorrow?”
I looked around to find the due dates
Asked my friends online and found out that was true
All thanks to the computer, by Bill Gates.

Its Friday, the paper was due after-school,
I was almost done, except for the Works Cited.
I skipped class, and turned it in at 2 o’ clock,
“I hope the font isn’t too small”, because the teacher is farsighted.

Finally the weekend is here, yet it was pouring outside,
So much for my weekend, stupid Hurricanes,
My power went out, I didn’t know what to do;
This thing was driving me insane.

Its Sunday night, I started my homework,
The game was on, I watched it on TV.
Realized there is an analysis due for my paper,
Yet the schools were closed, in Montgomery County.

Monday was here again; a new week had started,
School is closed, what a bright day it was.
The essay bothered me all weekend,
The strengths about it, and the flaws.
