Post Anyone see LoTR:TT yet??

I saw it last night and it was fucking banging! The trees were awesome (you'll know when you see it), and all the battles were sweet as hell, of course Legolas' moves were perfect and very crowd pleasing. The Dwarf was actually pretty entertaining too!

Lol it was hilarious when the one ent was on fire and it like ran into the big flood and dunked its head...IT"S BRILLIANT! And when there was the orc with the sparkler...and he ran into the drain and exploded...That was classic.

the movie is somewhat quite overrated. and so was the StarWars Episodes. I actually prefer the book versions of LOTR.

I also prefer the book, but I think that the movie is incredible. Think about all the fantasy movies that have been made...And then think about the ones that were better than the books they are based on. I think that the fact that rabid fans of LotR have NOT ripped the movie to pieces is a testament to it's greatness.

Love the LoTR books, and the movies are good...unless you want a movie that follows the story line of the book, in which case Arwen needs to be in them about 1/1000 as much as she is now.

Apparently, (this is from Tolkien notes, nothing more) when she wed a mortal, she became one herself.
