I found this on another forum where it has survived almost 600 iterations so far. I figure we can outperform them. Here are the rules of the game:
You start off with a word (which I'll supply), and then you have to transform it. You can do so by four methods:
1) Rearranging the letters, e.g. desserts => stressed
2) Adding a letter, e.g. floor => floors
3) Taking away a letter, e.g. melt => met
4) Switching one letter for another, e.g. house => horse
You are not allowed to do 2, 3, or 4 at the same time, but you can do 1 in conjunction with either of the remaining three options.
The first person will transform my word, then the person after that will transform the previous person's word, and so on.
First word:
