What happened?

How did I lose close to 500 posts? Not that I really care about them, just curious about what happened.

Could be posts that were in the shitcan that have recently been deleted to free up space?

Either that or I rarely look at my post count.

I'm guessing its something that happened to the posts that were made pre 2004 then? Randuin got knocked down to below 10k

Well, after double checking my post count appears to be a white line, so I'm safe.

I noticed that my post count took a hit, too.

Well, all that was supposed to disappear was postcount for posts in Talk to the Staff, but apparently someone has deleted a forum or two (maybe Grav?), so posts from those were lost also. I know that we've stopped adding back posts from the pruned trashcan posts for a long time now, so it wouldn't be that.

No, I was saying that you may have deleted the contents of a forum when you were moving stuff arround. The postcount loss wouldn't show untill a postcount update was run. In any case, I think it was just those stupid trashcan posts.
