The little "Links" folder in my "Favorites" tab.

I read somewhere how you can get rid of it, but then I forgot how...anyone know?

Open up 'Organize Favorites' and delete it from there.

Yeah, but if I close IE and re-open it, the folder comes back.

I think you'll find that IE is a horrible browser in the first place bro, try Crazy Browser or Firefox and see if the links folder stays away.

Crazy Browser is just an IE shell, but I'll agree on the "IE is a horrible browser" part. Anyway, in RegEdit:

=====

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar

Data Type: REG_SZ [String Value]
Value Name: LinksFolderName
Value Data: [Set this to blank]

Kill the "Links" menu, then reboot. It won't come back.
