Question Know your Games? ROUND 1
Reply

Round one. I have provided quotes from various games. So then, how many of you can guess which game its from, who said it, who did they say it to and what location they said it in? This doesn't mean you have no life, just means you actually pay attention while playing. Come on people, take a challenge, Think hard and give me your best! I'll give out the answers once enough people post.

1) "The upper world... a city on a giant metal plate... It's cause of that fuckin' 'pizza' that people underneath in the slums are sufferin'

2) "Great. I've got a chicken-wuss and a guy who just reached puberty in my squad.")

3) "Those who flaunt their power disappear when the truly powerful appear."

4) "Time passes, people move. Like a river's flow, it never ends. A childish mind will turn into noble ambition, young love will become deep affection. The clear water's surface reflects growth..."

5) "Either way, I don't want to get caught by THOSE people!"

6) "Drink punch...? Eat cake...? Sounds... complicated. I'm not sure I can muster the strength to do it."

7) "Oooh....Soft!"

8) I am matter. I am antimatter. I can see your past. I can see your future. I consume time and I will consume you!

9) "Teamwork means stayin' out of my way."

*HARDEST*
10) "For ages I have been searching...for a human with the power to conquer this world...one born in the shadow of darkness, and raised in the light of Mana. Dyluck is the one. I cannot wait any longer. My body has grown weak! Using his body I will take the Mana Fortress, and rule the world!"

Round Two Sometime later...that is if you guys can even win round one lol.

1. FF7-Barret to cloud on the train.

2. FF8-Seifer to Zell and Squall I believe, in that first building place.

3. Legend of Dragoon-Said by Rose for sure, don't remember whom to though.

4. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time-Shiek to Link I believe in that time palace place with the sword in it.

5. FF7-Aeris to Cloud in the church place with the flowers I believe.

6. Easy, Mario RPG-Booster to Snifit 3 boosters tower.

7. FF9-Zidane to himself or Garnet, can't remember, I think it was when they ran into each other, not sure.

8. Easiest. Mario RPG-Culex to Mario and party in monstro town.

9. FF8-Seifer, can't remember where or to whom.

10. Easy, Secret of Mana-Thanatos to Purim at the end of the fortress.

Aye, why would 10 be the hardest one? It mentions a critical character's name and has the capitalized word, Mana, twice.

I think you can pretend it's a flash... Let me dig up a thread...

(Or you can just link to it...)

Yaya. You can do it like a flash. Just do something like the following. (Take out the BLAH on the closing tag of course.)

[flash="address.midi"]width="350" height="35"[/flashBLAH]

Also, I know very nearly all the music of FF4, FF6, Chrono Trigger, Mario RPG, Shadowrun, Secret of Mana, and (somewhat) Secret of Evermore by heart. If you want a stumper, don't post anything from these games.

Naw, I'll try to make it hard, no worries =). At first it'll be easy, but then I'll go from recent games to more harder ones. For example, do you remember the Song of DOOM, Stage 4 ? Well even if thats still easy, I'll try my best to make it tougher as I go along...probably hit Nintendo and Atari or Gameboy games.

I won't know it off hand, but it's generally very easy to know what game a song comes from if you've played it very much. I would probably recognize Doom but not the specific level.
