Excellent LightWave book

I got Inside Lightwave 7 by Dan Ablan this christmas, and I must say that I had been expecting it to be great, but it completely blew me out of the water. I've plowed through about 400 out of its 1160 pages so far, and it goes through the basics and guides you through some great, advanced projects step by step. If you're ever planning to learn LightWave and wouldn't mind spending a little money, this is THE book to get.

Here is the latest thing I've created with a bit of help from one of the book's tutorials. If you bought it, I'm sure you could do the same after a bit of reading:

(Yes, it's a large picture, so just wait for it to load unless you're on a 9600 baud modem)

I'm glad you like it. I'll be posting some more creations later on. Note: Don't attempt to recreate anything similar to my skyscrapers unless you have a fair amount of RAM. They're "only" slightly more than 460,000 polygons, but it's still a gigantic resource hog.

Hrm.. the book have +1000 pages like Chruser said.

It will surely take a shitload of space if the quality is very good.
And also a shitload of time to scan all the pages! LoL.
