Not Nindendo's fault they've been around 15 years and have mascots that star in quality games

I'm stand by my stance of X-Box might shine in 2003 with online developed, but it won't be til the 2nd half of 2003. Right now, I'd take a Gamecube over a X-Box without question.

Not microsofts fault that they have developed more cash then the rest of the world

lol I jus trying too say everyone has their little niches that keep them in the business, thats not what we should worry about, we should worry about the content. Also that is your opinion which I understand becuz it is your own. Just Xbox is pulling in a lot more customers now then nintendo and that is a fact not only an opinion....

LoL I have a ps2 and an xbox and they both make me happy enough, but I wouldn't mind having a Gamecube too. All Consoles have something special and unique about them.

I got a X-Box for christmas and the current games I have are. Sega Gt, Jet Set Radio Future, Halo, Hunters, Spinter Cell and Mech Assault. Halo, Splinter Cell and Mech Assault are by far the most addictive games I have played, especially online. My friend has PS2 and Gamecube so I have had my share of playing on them. Personally I dont think PS2 is that great, they just spit out 10 games per day that all suck, so if you want a very big variety of games, I would go with PS2. Gamecube has more of RPG and childish games (not saying all of them, but the majority of them). X-Box however, has a great variety of games, also most of there games have long playability, great graphics and many upgrades you can do for them.

The future plans for X-Box are unbelievable. Somehow my friend got a hold of a PS2 emulator for his X-box, it is just a beta version so it has bugs, but he was able to play Vice City on it. Also they are going to be releasing a Divx player for it very soon. Probably in the future they will be releasing a emulator for the Gamecube also. So in time the X-Box will most likely be able to a X-Box, PS2 and a Gamecube. On top of that, you will be able to run Linux on it so it can just be like a secondary computer. You can currently hook a keyboard and mouse up to it if you know what you are doing. Also, you can upgrade the Harddrive in the X-Box to a much larger capacity, currently I have a 120gb in mine. This way I can dump DVD's, Cd's, and entire games onto my harddrive. I have dumped several games and dvd's onto it already so I can watch/play them without the discs. I am very anxious to see what future advances they will do on the X-Box. So IMO the X-Box is definitely the best choice out there right now.

Note: I own a ps2 and have online capabilties with it and none of the stuff they say is politicaly correct...
haha thats hilarious, makes me like xbox even more cus there atitude...
to me X Box is the Mans gaming system.
gamecube is the kids gaming system.
and ps2 is the everyones system.

i go with xbox, oh and whoever mentioned gamecube has faster FPS is a retard. FPS depends on the game. you could make doom III for xbox and quake 1 for gamecube and of course quake 1 would have faster fps. show me two EXACT games on xbox and gamecube where the GC has better fps

No matter what, I think Xbox is better. I just like the idea of it I guess. Well, also if you have lots of friends with a consule, get it so you can borrow games
