You get what you pay for, though over the years phpBB has gotten much better than it used to be. I'm inclined to believe that phpBB's template customization system is still as awful now was it was when I last worked with it since I haven't seen any phpBB forums with any sort of changed structure.

Oh yeah, phpBB's template system is terrible. That's the reason I don't use any of that now. Not to mention, any hacks you want have to be put into each template page. I wouldn't suggest phpBB until they fix those problems.

I updated it, is that more of what you're looking for? Don't bother with title, I just put that in place to see it if it had a title.

looks even better only thing i noticed was that you left 'navigation bar' in there, that can be removed, was just used to show you what i was aiming for.
