Yeah, no doubt.
Well, I'm down to like a pack and a half normally to the ocassional 3 pack max a week. Pack and a half a week when I'm in school and just doing my normal thing. 3 packs when my high school buddies come to visit, or when there is a break in between terms, because during those times, I literally drink like 20 beers a day on average.
Well, I first started out trying to quit by not smoking the entire ciggarette everytime I lit up. After a while it got to the point where I said, "What the fuck am I doing? Why not just smoke half as much, but the whole thing and cut my intake by half instead of spending the same amount of money and getting less out of it."
So, I started doing that. Then after doing the same thing to the cut back amount a few more times, it got to the point I'm at now. Only problem, the next step is basically quitting, and thats a little extreme at this point.
Also, I had to cut back in my drinking as well, because that is a huge cig killer during those times. I still drink a good amount, especially on the weekends, but it's gotten to the point where I rarely smoke unless I'm drinking.
The hardest step is yet to come though.
