Destruction is the new Alliance, all of my guildies have switched to Order since Open Beta.

I remember seeing somewhere they had a map of the US. Within each regeion they showed the # of Order players and the # of Destruction players. Not one region had more Order then Destruction. Depending on the balance between the two I might end up rolling a dwarf of some sort.

No, I didn't preorder the CE. I got a call from Gamestop tonight saying that my game will be in tomorrow before noon.

WW, do you have any buddies playing with you on your server? I'm not to sure how much my friends will play seeing as they all have families and what not. I might just roll on my own server, although that can get really borring, unless you make some friends.

Nope, I don't know anyone else playing. I didn't preorder the Collectors Edition. Normal preorders started playing at 7am today. Getting the normal box tomorrow won't do you much good, either, since the retail key won't work untill Thursday. What you need is the key from the preorder box.

That's called a good-ole-fashion shafting. That's bullshit, btw. A bit too much of a reward for preorders, imo.

Actually, it's more for their benefit than the customers'. Doing this forces the userbase to come on in stages spreading them out among the lands and improving everyone's experience. It's probably still going to be pretty crowded for the people who pick up the game on Thursday, but it'll still be a lot better than everyone in the same place trying to do the same quests at the same time.

If you didn't get a box when you pre-ordered, you're probably SOL. The pre-order box has the codes for the open beta, the early start, and the items. If you're lucky, you might be able to get one when you pick it up.
