Must be different in America, then. The four regular BBC channels in the UK (BBC One, Two, Three and Four) don't show adverts for products (but do for programs on the BBC channels), and nor do the local BBC channels (things like BBC North West, Scotland, North East, London etc) or the BBC News channels.

Current thought: Thank the powers that be that I don't have to go through a day like this again. Waiting for results is nerve-racking, but I have to admit, when they all come through it's the best feeling in the world.
