Nothing strange with that at all.



Old picture from I don't know when (Unleaded is now 107.9, and Diesel is about 116.9), but you get the idea.

Personally I think it strange that petrol is sold in gallons in America. Are the cars not marketed as having tanks that hold so many litres, etc?

In two, three days, it's gone up a penny to 108.9p ($8.07).

There's a lot of things different about our counrties, like we don't call it petrol, and hell I bet if you asked a good amount of people what petrol is there would only be a 75% rate of them that even know wtf you're talking about. Our gas tanks are measured in gallons, not litres. As well as the marketing shows the MPG of the cars, not MPL. (Miles per gallon/litre)

For example on new cars these stickers are places in the window:



Even though that picture isn't practical (that's a hybrid) most of our cars get in the 15-25 city range and 20-35 highway range.

Anyways, our prices are hovering a bit higher around 3.73 now. ( F$%(U*$C%K )

Yup. Whats the mpg like on those old VW vans. I might convert one to a truck for work. Were at 3.45+
