That just doesn't happen, I'm 16, and you cannot do that, especially at a School Dance.

Especially in a section of the east coast inhabited by very Christian well-to-do families.

Of course that's probably all the action I'm ever going to get in high school - I'm a nerdy emo with horrible girl skills. I'd much rather be drawing than spending time with a girl in any case.

Well I guess if you're content with not getting laid and being made fun of, go right ahead. My advice: try to polish up your girl skills. Just use it as a trial and error type deal. There are many, many girls out there, just swing for the fences and hey if it doesn't work there's always Girl #2 right down the road.
