Questions about what subject matter?

General getting to know the person?
An author who has had fifty bestseller published?
A scientist who has just published a theory relating to the latest brain research?
The programmer of the latest BIG game?

questions at interviews

EVERYTHING about your job history
"why do you want this position"
"why do you think you'll be best for this position"

questions to ask:
"what kind of benefits does the company offer"
"what type of advancement opportunities are there with this position"
pay of course
