I don't really see any need for it, nor do I think it would attract any of the activity we're looking for. Zelaron has always been a place for discussing games, finding other people to play games with, and a place for intelligent debate in my eyes. I just don't really see the difference between someone posting a name/link with a NSFW warning and posting the picture itself. /shrug

It's just so hard to argue against wanting more people. Chruser's aim log that Grav posted in the resignation thread was genuis, I do agree with it, but having more people is never a bad thing.

Even if somebody does stumble onto the website after looking at or for pr0n doesn't always guarntee that they are morons or geeks, (in this case geeks seem to be wanted..more Mj's, woop) but people that can carry a converstation, contribute.

Another thing is that most people are against it haven't honestly offered anything different for the forums, they just like to take the WW side of things and just bash them into the ground before giving it a chance.

The Adult forum wouldn't bring new members as it would be a private forum and would not get google hits and such.

It is guaranteed that it would/will be private. It will require some sort of approval before you can get in.

Since when has it been up to you? Last time I checked you resigned from your Sup Mod position, so last time I checked, you had just as much say in anything as everybody else does. Not to be a dick but I don't see why it can't just be public, atleast get more traffic on the site.

I'm the one who originally came up with the idea and discussed how it would work with WetWired and Chruser. There was an agreement that it would HAVE to be private or else it would not be allowed, since minors view this website. Those were Chruser and WetWired's terms. WetWired has yet to figure out a way to do it where you have access at home but not at work, so it hasn't been done yet. I'm not entirely sure if that feature is even necessary, but he insisted upon it, and the idea has since stagnated.

Just because I don't want an adult forum does not mean I'm opposed to everything else. I like the ideas of bringing back News Posters, Store hack, your rep system, etc etc.

Well, I didn't mean it that way at all, but I suppose all-in-all it wouldn't be worth it, probably inactive, and evedentally bring the wrong sort of people among these forums that'd eventually drag it down even further than it already is.

It seems there are 2 opinions on the matter regarding getting more people here. My point of view is that I'd rather attempt to attract more posters that would add to the intellectual side of Zelaron while the other view appears to say 'new people are new people'.

I don't know about everyone, but there are other boards I can visit if I wanted to sift through a slew of retarded content, Zel's intellectual debates and discussions are what keep me here.
