I don't think Daniel Radcliffe is that bad. Definitely a lot better than he first was.

Rupert Grint is very good. Not only as Ron, but in the other films he's done.

And Emma Watson is quite good, too. She just needs to keep her eyebrows down. I wonder if she does that with her eyebrows in real life...

The actors they've chosen have all been superb in my opinion, but the directing and screenplays have been pretty downhill after Chris Colombus dropped off.

I already figured out how the 6th and 7th movies are going to be directed. The 6th movie is where Harry and Ron are struggling to take the Ring to Mount Doom, and the 7th is when Harry manages to throw it down the ventilation shaft of the Death Star.

On topic:
I have no complaints about the books, except I was hoping that we'd hear more about the Mirror of Erised.

On the subject of the films: out of the five, I think that the Chris Colombus ones are the worst.

I thought that Alfonso Curan did a good job with Prisoner of Azkaban, and I think that David Yates has done a superb job with Order of the Phoenix. He's also directing Half Blood Prince, which should be interesting.

See, I thought the directing on Order of the Phoenix was the most appalling yet.

I was literally BORED throughout the movie, and it was like he wouldn't let the actors play their parts with the exception of Luna. If I heard one more "a storm is coming" or some other cliche attempt at a foreboding, cryptic warning, I would have written a strongly worded letter to my congressman in favor of carpet-bombing everything within a 150 mile radius of Hollywood.

I loved Luna's portrayal.

The mentioning of storms and the warnings are more down to the scriptwriter than the director, methinks.

And Luna should have got a lot more airtime.

Well, anyone who's read the books could tell the scriptwriter was terrible throughout the series, I just left that unspoken.

A lot of my complaints were direction-specific though.
