Wow, I didn't realize how many opportunities I had missed. I knew there was a few, but I didn't notice that first check mate, until you had pointed it out.

Thank the gods, that's all I can say.

You know, I've got a Chessmaster game somewhere. I've never been able to beat it... I wonder if MJ can.

He could make the move, then I do that same move on Chessmaster, then I make the move on redhotpawn that the Chessmaster game has.

It'd have to be done in one sitting, though.

Heh, I'm not that good at Chess...

It depends. If it's an older Chessmaster (4000 or less) I could usually, if it's 10th edition, it would be seldom that I win. There's some other computer programs that blow Chessmaster out of the water, though, in playing strength. Fritz, probably the second-best selling commercial chess program beat the current world champion in a 6-game match.

Hydra, a dedicated computer, has never lost to a human.

Well... it's a tiny bit dated.

It's the original Chessmaster... for the Game Boy... from 1990.
