As said in the links that I provided, when Ikkou see's a naked woman, some hidden power in him awakens and he now has the ability to single handedly do what the rest of the monks on his team could not do combined. Only drawback being, whe he's done with the monsters, he has what's called a perverted rebound, in which he activly tries to go after the female priests and get 'fresh with them'. He's always stopped when one of the characters socks him in the face or scorches hiim wiht a fire breathing pet.
If you can't tell already by now, this series is all about the perverted humor. There is some nudity and a lot of scantily clad girls. There is an underlying tone of a small romance between two of the chars, but you'll just have to watch it to figure it out.
This review, or preview, or whatever the fuck you want to call this, is about Episode 7 of the second season. You probably wont get much of this because I'm randomly starting writin greviews in the middle of a sseries, but I figure this is a good way to practice my obviously horrible writing skills.
The episode starts with a shot of a bunch of dog oweners and their dogs. They all randomly start to go apeshit all at the same time, and run away in the same direction. The dogs intercept our main characters outside of a shop they had just bought a banan from. They all wonder what the fuck is going on. The dogs are after only one thing though. Sumi. They couldn't care less about the other two as the star in AWE at what the fuck is going on.
I told you, this series is full of perverted humor... Finally the dog's owners come and take back their dogs.
Our trio of monks heads back to the temple, and get together for a meeting to hopefully describes what the fuck is going on. Sakura mentions something about being in heat. Our perverted monk friend Ikkou assumes this means that Sumi is currently in heat and attracting all the dogs for mating purposes. He promptly gets punched across the room. It's finally clarified that it's not the male dogs being in heat, but Sumi's lack of control over her spiritual power that is drawing them to her.
Now what does every self respecting human do when they are down about something? They usually talk to friends to try to feel better. They go do something to get their mind off of things. They go to sleep or cry in bed. Or SOMETHING normal. But this is anime, and we can't fucking have that! We have to meet our nudity quota for the episode somehow!
Sumi chooses to take a shower and reflect (and cry) over what is happening.
Meanwhile, the head Assigns the apprentice nun's on border duty. They are to protect Sumi by patrolling the permiter and taking care of all of the stray dogs. It is made clear that the animals are not to be harmed, and for a certain monk to NOT go overboard like she did last year....
All sumi has to do while others are out being bitten by dogs is try to get her power under control. Lucky.
Several days have passed and there is no progress with Sumi's powers. The rest of our monks are all at school and tired. By now, word has spread and Kazuki hears about this whole ordeal. She deciedes to stop by Ikkou's class and offer her help, in the best way possible!
Of course, this is just a ruse to get her + Ikkou to awaken together (Awaken = When his hidden innner power comes out. I'm assuming she has some hidden power that will awaken one day too. She wants ikkou to be the one to be the reason why it emerges though).
Night falls and its time YET again for our monks to start border duty. True to her word, Kazuki show's up, ready and geared for battle.
Having said this, she runs up to Ikko and begins to hug his arm. This of course turns our perverted friend on. Hinata, do your stuff.
With Ikkou taken care of, they all go out on patrol yet again.
Kazuki's plan is going into action. Two dogs appear and start growling at our gang of Chitose, Ikkou, and Kazuki. The clever thing is, they are in two different directions! Chitose runs after one of them while Ikkou and Kazuki go after another. Finally, Kazuki and Ikkou are all alone. Oh my, for the 10 millionth time she tries to seduce him, and for the 10 millionth time it works.
Just like in any anime series, this does not last long. Chitose had no problem catching the dogs and has now cought those two as well.
It appears that a problem has formed at the temple though. A large number of dogs have gotten on the inside due to the front gate being left open. Everyone runs back to the enterence and wonders why the fuck ther eare so many dogs in here.
Ikkou starts fighting off the dogs, and of course, out of nowhre, Kazuki runs iin and trys to get him to awaken again. This time she just downright strips in front of him.
This does the trick, and he begins to awaken. At the last second though, he lunges forward and smashes his head into the ground (as violence is know to stop the awakening). He manages to stop himself, to everyones amazement.
Since Ikkou could overcome his problems, it inspires Sumit to overcome hers. She starts praying and glowing all of a sudden. The dogs become tranquil and all goes well. The day is saved. Kazuki is not pleased.
The episode ends with Kazuki back in her 'war room', planning the scheme that she will use to awaken Ikkou.
