Just because criminals are criminals doesn't mean they don't have rights. I doubt anyone here will know about the Battle of the Bogside - it was a battle in N. Ireland in Derry. Catholics vs. the local thug police force (armed Protestants) the B-Specials. People were running away, and this police force were going at people with the truncheons like there was no tomorrow. Men, Women, Children. If a cop can get away with beating a fleeing criminal, then what's to stop them beating seven bails out of an innocent civilian?

You don't deserve rights if you pull a stunt like that. Chances are the NAACP will get their biggest african lawyer to pull some ape shit in court and he'll get off.
