He he he he...

At this moment in time getting drunk is very bad.

A guy got horribly drunk at a party last week, and was over all the girls apparently. His girlfriend wasn't there though, and yesterday they had an awesome argument and have split up. She is livid with anger. The guy wasn't in school today...I wonder why...

Not really.

The two have been together for about 6 months. Young love. They were each others worlds. Most of their spare time was spent with each other.

You'd be extremely angry if your gf tried to get off with loads of boys behind your back, no matter if she's drunk or not.

I don't think there's a difference between "young love" and "love." It's a matter of the maturity of the people.

I say "young love" because they're both 15.

It's very unlikely that it is, or was, going to progress to the stage when marriage is in the picture. That'll be "love".

Thing is though, I think the girl was getting kinda annoyed by the guy anyway. She's not much of one for druggies and people who get drunk at every party and try to get with other girls, whether she's there or not.

I shouldn't be feeling happy at the news of the breakup, but I can't help it. He was such a dick, and she deserves far better.

I don't think you understand exactly what he's saying Lenny. For once I agree with GravritronSurgre. Kids and teenagers who say they are in love have just as strong of feeling as adults who say they are in love. The reason it's usually considered young love, is because teenagers change a lot in adolescence, and their views tend to change. Usually once you are older than twenty or twenty-five, you seem to have settled down in your thoughts and beliefs, and are more accepting to have a life partner as well. Some people, if you haven't noticed, still don't change at that age. Some people remarry and divorce, because they remain undecided throughout any indeterminate amount of their life, possibly during their whole life.

Right. For example: teachers of high school classes nowadays are being instructed to be considerate of couples who have recently broken up, because it has the same emotional impact on teenagers as divorced couples.
