Believe me, it IS called the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge...I'm a Brit. I go down to London 3 or 4 times a year. I always pass over that bridge.

The Bridge in the pic is most probably the Tower of London bridge. You can't see the Gherkin that well from the QEII bridge.

Hah! That's why I didn't agree with you on the name. I knew the tower of london bridge was unique looking, I just couldn't remember if those were the colors or not.
