Okay, if I'm wrong on my theory, correct me, and I *may* recalculate.
This is how I applied bonuses:
1. Base defense = Dex / 4
2. Enhanced defense modifiers ON an item is applied to base only
3. +Defense modifiers to items are applied after enhanced defense modifiers.
4. Enhanced defense skills apply to total defense.
5. Enhanced defense modifiers on items without defense (weapons, amulets) are applied to total defense along with skills.

If all of my ideas hold true, this *should* be the highest possible defense for a level 99 barbarian with perfect gear.
