Well repetitive would be the band's fault. Overplayed is the mass media's fault. And I like it too, just not 5 times a day.

Repetition in any sense isn't always a fault.


I don't really think I see bands that I like as having faults... I just see them as being different from other bands I like.

Yes everything about the new Green Day album is overplayed. I got it the day it came out and I loved it for about a week until I started hearing it EVERYWHERE and I work at a Radio Station and it was on my playlist every other hour almost. I got so sick of hearing it that I can't even look at the damn album anymore. At least they finally released a new single that's getting decent airplay instead of Boulevard.

What I liked about Muse's videos in the US is that they maybe got played once or twice a day, mostly real early in the morning. After it go more popular, there would be one or two in the afternoon/primetime, but hardly on the radio. I think radio stations/music channels should play every song like that, only once or twice a day.
