Early 2vs2 Strategy

Man, properly executed 2v2 games can all turn into fucking massacres.. especially with limited weapon spawns and shit on most boards...

sue and i were playing 2v2 yesterday, we won a few and got up to level 3's...then we went to pizza hut w/ some friends, came back and we were 1's
something was fucking up with the levels yesterday

yeah but holy crap did we trash those teams we played against... we are yet to play a strong team though... once they stop de-leveling us hopefully we can work our way up to some competition

Until I finally get good with a Sniper, I'm staying away from that variant. I played it with my roommate yesterday (Ugh... ) and we got fucking owned on Beaver Human set. All they did was get control of the SNipe and Rockets and sat on top of the cliff protecting each other and grabbing the overshield every time it respawned. We couldn't do shit..

Yeah basically it boils down to controlling rockets and snipes and camping the OS... some maps make that easier than others like ivory tower and beaver creek... ascension it a whole different story... however ive had more success at ascension than anywhere else
