Well, I don't care what you do. But dammit, my cousin is out in Iraq. He's a mine specialist...and his best friend just got blown up by a mine. So let me tell you this, it is not funny when someone dies in war. To you, it may be a half-assed reason, but there is a good reason in this Sov. But Sov, you don't have to take a position in the army that requires actual combat. I'm sure there's something you could do with computers that requires 0 combat. But look, running to Canada to avoid something your country is doing is (in my opinion) something sort of a pussy's way out.

Well i quite frankly don't care that your cousins friend died. I find it VERY funny when people are still willing to go out there, and die for no reason.

This ISNT my country. This is just the temporary brothel that i am forced to live in until i can move. This country cound rot in hell for all i care. AFter i move to canada, if i was to turn on the news, and hear that the us was just turned into a giant bomb crater, id be happy.

This country is full of shit. And im fed up wiht it. And I WONT support this country in making future fuckups. I will not die for this piece of shit country, just because a persident orders me to fight.

And lastly, I am not moving to canada to avoid a draft. I've had that plan for YEARS.

But hey, whats wrong with dodging drafts. I hear that the bush family has dodged a few of them.

actually, I read that was something that the Liberals/Democrats came up with to make him look bad. But it turned out to be false and Bush did serve. I know you don't care that my cousin's best friend died. You heartless shit. There are some people who still have a sense of pride in this country. There are still some who wish to preserve it. This country needs a good president like Reagan or JFK to help it. Kerry would definitely fuck it up. Bush wouldn't bury the country like Kerry. But you should be slightly more proud of this country. If you try to do what you can to change it for the better, don't you think that it would be better? BTW, if the USA was to become a crater, I think that it wouldn't be long until someone tried to take over Canada and the rest of the Americas.

Heartless shit? Sorry for not caring about someone I DONT KNOW. And I honestly hope his family knows that he died for NO GOOD CAUSE.

Kerry CANT POSSIBLY FUCK IT UP MORE THEN BUSH DID.

I am ASHAMED of this country. And nothing I directly do can change my feelings.

(Sorry about that sov, that kinda slipped, it was wrong of me to say that.)

No, look at Kerry: He doesn't stick with a single decision at all. Seriously, he voted for some million dollars to go to the Iraq war when it was to be voted to go through Congress. Then when it was to go through the Senate, he voted against it. He was also against gay marriage, and then later said "I am opposed, but if it makes you happy, go out and do it!" Besides, Kerry is an asshole.

Actually it was the 87 billion dollar bill that was going to be written for us to go to war. And by the same it had made it to senate Kerry had learned some of the facts about the actual point of the war. (He was caught up in post 9/11 just like the rest of us, and he voted for it at that time. ) But now that we ALL can see Iraq is just a distraction for our 'war on terror' he changed his opinion.

Actually, Kerry and Bush are against gay marriage. But they both agreed on wanting to have the 'Civil Union'. And Kerry is not an asshole in anyway, kj. I believe Kerry can pull us out of this shithole that we are in as of now.

Actually, not really. Kerry is very indecisive about many things. And Kerry is an asshole. 1) I have a coworker whose daughter went to graduation for someone and she sat next to Kerry. He was a total asshole to her. 2) He flips off a Vietnam veteran in front of schoolchildren... 3) He (after starting Vietnam Veterans Against War) was pro-Communism. 4) He claimed to have stood proudly against Reagan during the wartime. Then he decides that it wasn't bad. 5) He said Reagan was too hard on terrorists...

BTW, I read somewhere that Ben Stein (Actor and wealthy man) said that Kerry's economic plan would be bad for us.

Under Bush:
288,000 new jobs
Unemployment falls
625,000 jobs in 2 months.

Something about tax:

Every year an independant tax watchdog group analyzes the average tax burden on Americans, and then calculates the "Tax Freedom Day." This is the day after which the money you earn goes to you, not the gov't. This year, tax freedom day was on April 11th. That's the earliest it's been since 1991. The latest day ever was May 2nd, which occurred in 2000. Notice anything special about these dates? Today (June 9th) Kerry gave a speech in which he claimed Americans are actually paying more taxes under Bush, despite tax cuts. He gave no explanation and provided no data for this claim.

Another interesting fact:

Both George W. Bush and John Kerry are wealthy men. Bush owns only one home, his rance in Texas. John Kerry owns 4 mansions, all worth several million dollars. (His ski resort home in Idaho is an old barn brought over from Europe in pieces. Not your average A-frame)

Bush paid $250,000 in taxes this year; Kerry paid $90,000. Does this sound right?

The man who wants to raise your taxes obviously has figured out a way to avoid paying his own.

Excuse me, but isn't it BUSH that's trying to start a nuclear war with North Korea? Didn't he take the largest budget surplus and turn it into the biggest national deficit in US history? Didn't we just get into a completely pointless war because of Bush?
I agree Bush wouldn't bury the country like Kerry. He'd get us blown the fuck up. Kerry might be able to do something positive for the country.

Yes, Bush wants to ban gay marriage. As if the government should have a roll in what they want to do with their lives.

I will agree with a lot of people on this: gay marriage should be decided by the people, not the gov't.

Blah, blah, blah.
For the gay marriage part, the government defines a frame of rules. If they don't suit everyone, some people will want to get them changed. There are gays. They want gay marriage to be allowed. There are psychopath murderers. They want the society to allow you to kill anyone you want to for no apparent reason. I'm not comparing gays with murderers, I'm just saying that *somewhere*, there has to be a certain restriction for what members of society can and can't do. And the government sets this line, without anyone with the key in hand to know what's perfectly right for everyone. There is no such solution.

And KagomJack, really, I don't care. Bush makes the sole pronounciation of "The United States" to stink. And it takes effort to make a sound stink. He had his chance, and he should go. Kerry may not be much better, but at least he hasn't failed yet unlike others.
