will i loose my account to diablo2 if i empty my drive (crash my comp)reboot

If you play on the Closed Realms (USEast, USWest), you will not lose your characters or account, as they are stored on battle.net servers.

If you play on Open Battle.net or Single Player, you would lose your characters if you did not back them up first.


Since you said "account", you're likely on the realms, and no, you will not lose them. Just remember your Account Name and Password, and that's all you need!
