Watch the movies. There are two, Rebirth and Death.

As for the movies, there is no official synopsis of the storyline. The developers made it that way so you can come to your own conclusions.

Yup. You have to pay attention carefully to know what it was really about.

I never understood while I liked only the ending of the series and the movie. Maybe I just like the whole psychological angle they play with.

It's almost like visual poetry.
