Mmmmmmm, money trees.
We bumped into a big group of Americans whose cruise liner was docked at Valletta for the day. Well, I say bumped into, I really mean avoided completely as they were the most obnoxious, loud, ignorant, stuck up, rude fuckers I ever have met. We kept on seeing an old couple that day, who tried to pay with everything with a credit card (€1.50... can I put that on my Visa? €0.85... can I put that on my Visa? What do you mean no? Fine, have a bill. Change? What?! It's a €50 bill, surely that will do? Just take the god-damned bill and put it in the machine!! No, the other way. Just do it!!!) and didn't leave any tips in cafes.
Things were saved by a very nice couple from Chicage whom we spent the day with on Saturday around Gozo (the second largest island in the Maltese archipelago).
I'll post pics and whatever else in a thread later on today. Fantastic holiday, it was.
