Intel Builds an 80 core chip

The problem with an 80 core chip (besides the inter-chip comms) is that a home system not bogged down by malware doesn't have 80 threads running. The kind of software that a home user uses is sequential in nature and not a good canidate for multithreading to take advantage of this kind of processor.
