The official salutation thread

Man walks into a restaurant, orders the Soup, and sits down. Some time later the waiter appears with the soup, puts it down in front of the man and walks away. The man just sits there, staring at the soup. 5 minutes pass and the waiter walks up to him:

"Is there anything I can help you with, sir?"
"Taste the soup," the man responds.
"Some bread rolls, perhaps?"
"Taste the soup."
"Is there something wrong with it? Too hot?"
"Taste the soup."
"Too cold, then?"
"Taste the soup."
"Alright, alright! I'll taste the damn soup. Where's the spoon?"
"Ah! Exactly," replies the man.

And the moral of the story is... I haven't had soup for ages! Off to tea I go.
