Every time I have tried to get into EVE I've found it overly daunting. I had a bit of fun with it the last time but it is just too much for me.
I'm actually digging Shadowlands, which is surprising to me. I'm really excited for them to announce classic servers going to TBC.
I kinda plowed through the main story of Shadowlands with my druid. It was fun but then like I said, I just couldn't get into any of the fun content cuz no one lets you in without knowledge.
I really feel the daunting bit, I've kinda picked up on bits throughout the years I've played here and there. This time I ended up with a corp who was very helpful and taught me a lot about the game I didn't understand. I know there's an absurd amount I still don't know but eh, having tons of fun as it is.

I love it. I was trying out WoW for a while but it just didn't feel good to me. Eve I love. There's a lot I can do that's solo but also can hop in a fleet with my corp and have a good time running some big things with people. There is still very elitist people who look down on new players but overall the community is fairly open and not awful. Plus, I get to fly space ships around and blow shit up with missiles. I love it.
Is this one free play?

I’ve played a lot of EvE, but my group pretty much collapsed after the capital ship travel rebalancing and I lost interest. It’s a deep game, but once you reach a certain level of training and understanding, you need a group to have fun.
EvE has a free to play tier and a subscription tier. TBH, if you’re not out to be an industrialist, there’s plenty of fun to be had in the free tier. Even though I had two subscription accounts, in the end I loved flying ships that only required free tier skills more.
I've been too lazy to set up my consoles ( i have to mount tv to the wall and set up a nice area for them) , but these days i've just been playing/botting diablo 2 (project d2 mod). I hope D2R lives up to expectations.
Just curious, what made you think of Zel after all these years?
I couldn't sleep a few weeks ago so I started Googling myself to find some nostalgia. I tried to find my old Xanga and from there started Googling old screen names, and Silverjinx lead to Zelaron. I like how small Zelaron is compared to Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
