[Wc3] Custom Maps

Has anyone had any experience in creating their own (or working on with someone else) custom map? Me and a buddy are going to start working on a new footies map. Just wanting to know if this is somewhere I could post for help. Also if you have any tips along the way that would work too. (the footies we have in store will definetly have an insta-fan base from zelaron, if you liked the original footies that is.)
