I keep hearing you guys talk about script editors. is there one for rpgmaker2003? if so, how do you get there and how do you use one? what are they for? what can you do with them?

P.S. hey blue: what is the latest version of rpgmaker 2003? isn't it version 1.05?

I haven't heard of one for RM2K3. The ones we talk about is usually the one that comes with RMXP and uses Ruby (bloody useless programming language, but what can we say?). You may be able to find one for RM2K3, I personally don't know.

NEVER seen a script editor for RM2k3. I'm glad there isn't one built in, forced ASCII/Enterbrain to actually put in a GUI for editing things. Also RUBY ARG RAGHAHGHAGHEHAHGAHGH etc.

Latest version is 1.09 (1.08 if you want to stick with RPG Advocate) I believe, I just woke up so I might be off on that.

Edit: Just checked Phylomortis, here's what the MAN HIMSELF has to say on the subject:
Quote:
Q: Have all the bugfix patches Enterbrain has released since December 2002 been translated?

A: No. The latest version is version 1.09. The most up-to-date translations are of version 1.08. There is at least on English and one Portugese translation that translate version 1.08. If you're going to get a translation, one of these two are your best bet.

so... the version 1.08 is translated, right? so where and how do I get it. I read your(blue) post (RM2k3 / RTP and RMXP Download Sites) about it, and I've only posted 7 times, but could you excuse this one time and pm me the website, please? also, I might be able to find you a web server with bigger bandwidth (none come to mind at the moment, but I could help), so that you could share this with the rest of us. thanks.
