does anybody know how to build an effective pvp javazon (or as effective as possible) that would be good to use at the moment. (keeping in mind all the new items, skill bonuses, and other characters advantages)

On USEAST nl if possible

Throw will probably kill the least.

I'd say go with cs. I've never made one but I'm sure I have a vague idea on what to use.

cs zon sound good?

I know stats but I need more tiem to research skills.

Enough str for gear (dont be dependant on your rings/belt/boots/ammy (so you can sorb later)
Enough dext for max block
rest into vita
zero into energy

Your wep should be eth up'd titans. Probably want to wear a coh. Griffs as helm. Gotta think about the rest.

Fuck its snowing a lot outside.

I;m dizzy.

it has been a while since i have played d2 but i know for a charge strike zon to be any good they have to reach a pretty good breaking point with ias but since i do not remember the site that has break points on it ill let you find it out on your own.

here is a link to the most useful d2 page that i have ever found for pvp purposes

http://diablo2.ingame.de/tips/calcs/...p?lang=english

what it tells you if you take the time to put in the information is that for your javazon to be effective you will want to have atleast 52% ias to reach 10 frames which is 2.5 attacks per second. if you can swing it you should try to get 89% to reach 9 frames which is 2.7 attacks per second.

my personal preferance would be to use 52% ias because it is easy to achieve without sacrificing too much gear. so where you have a 5/5 light facet you could put in a something/15ias jewel.

i just glanced at those skill point distributions and they look pretty good. An interesting fact is that Lightning bolt is far superior than lightning fury in pvp aspects because lightning bolt ignores target defense and always does damage when it hits. also lightning bolt damage is also effected by physical damage so with some eth upped titans you can expect some nice damage.

as for extra skill points i would suggest getting either a valk or atleast a decoy to take a fire ball or off screen FoH.

yeah it has also been a while since i have played D2 and suprisingly enough i have forgotten most of the items and their stats, but i still know quite a bit about pvp related skills because that was the only reason i played. and i figure that whoever started this thread is probably addicted still so they have already made thier lightning zon by now lol
