Finally, the American scene has something to boast about! If you're a fan of Megadeth and are looking for some shredding action, you're a fan of Soulfly and want some brutal carnage, or you're just looking for a few kickass songs, check these guys out.

Lamb of God

"Laid To Rest"
"Hourglass"
"Now You've Got Something To Die For"

Bleeding Through

"Love Lost In A Hail Of Gunfire"
"On Wings Of Lead"
"Revenge I Seek"

Mastodon

"March Of The Fire Ants"
"Blood And Thunder"
"Aqua Dementia"

Horns up!

That was directly addressed to me, huh?

I've already listened to Mastodon, they're not too bad. 'In Flames' aren't horrible either.

I might have heard Lamb of God, but I'm not entirely sure.

My new band I've started listening to is Chlidren of Bodom. I'm liking it so far, though I've only heard 2 songs.

I'll see about acquiring those other songs you listed.

Uh, that's fantastic, dude. Anything more pertinent to say, or are you going to just stop at that?

I added Mastodon more as an afterthought. You should be downloading those Lamb of God and Bleeding Through songs, because they are brutal.

Mastadon's supposed to be coming through with Slayer in a long while. Lamb of God has gotten a good report from my friends and the songs I've heard confirm this. Bleeding Through....never heard of them. I'll cut my self in apology.

Seriously though, I'm kinda glad America doesn't have a ton of good metal artists. We might end up like those crazy countires overseas. I mean, we don't need a band like Mayhem here.

Listen to Bleeding Through. Rob Halford commands it!

Seriously, though, they kick unbelievable amounts of ass. "Love Lost In A Hail Of Gunfire" will make your internal organs rupture with glee.
