Well, all he can do is keep it down until he stops and it comes back up. He can't do any serious damage from a single computer.

He dosent attack zelaron... if he wanted too you would feel an impact.

I know for a fact he has Ddosed, I've talked to him while he's done it, I've even got the program he uses.

I would consider rolling back the forum a couple weeks and causing shitloads of problems with the scripts serious damage...

That is if it was him who did it, which is wasn't, as Chruser has already explained, it was due to the guy who runs the server using the wrong database back-up when he switched something over.

We do use cron jobs to back up the databases. The incident happened because our web host was installing a control panel for the server, and he backed up all the files on the site plus the wrong database (zelaron), when the real database (zelaron_test) was not backed up. The daily backups were deleted, and restoring the board from an incorrect database obviously didn't work. Now, the backup I had on my hard drive was 9 days old... Well, you get the idea.
