Hrm.. I believe it could. Also, since I pride myself with thinking that I've not posted any useless, post-count aiding garbage, I'll include a point on this thread.

It's been a pretty good ride here at Zelaron. I joined a good long while ago thanks to SYG. I was on a UO shard (LoD maybe?) and had run to Buc's Den to avoid a pk. I had only had my character a day or so, so there's no shame in that. Anyhow, that's when I first met SYG, and he told me to go to www.zelaron.com.

I didn't pay much attention to it, but went and checked it out later anyhow. I signed up and read some posts. It wasn't too bad I thought. Well, I've devoted a small chunk of my life to this community, and I can't say that I'm sorry for it. Anyhow, here's to my 1000th post and to keepin' it real. (Not that keepin' it real has anything to do with this post... I just wanted to say it)

I first joined when a D2-bud of mine (back when I used to play D2) said to get the newest Pindlebot, he told me to search for some kind of filename on Google and it was on the first search page on Google.
So I go here, I download the bot, post some questions to get the right kick in the butt, got it working, yay! Anyway it was a long time ago, I don't play D2 anymore, and now here I am.
One of, if not the most prestige member of this board, the most respected, the most feared, the most loved and the most arrogant and delusional.
Anyway, I don't pride myself on making posts with a point, so I will end this post with a funny random insult for no reason:

Well, I started Zelaron over a year ago, originally intended as a Diablo 2-related forum. The main reason behind this was due to the fact I didn't find many boards run by serious people who intended to keep their forum up, so I wanted to give everyone a stable online home, so to speak. With all the other gaming categories and general conversation forums that have been added, Zelaron has had quite an exponential development. Lots of members are still joining and visiting the board, which is a good thing.

The only downside with this board is that it's really easy to go back and find out when you posted something important (more or less), and you'll get the "Whoa, that can't have been three months ago! Time passes way too quickly"-experience. Or, to quote someone from learn-to-draw.com:

"Have you ever noticed that when you get into doing something that you really enjoy time just seems to slip away? "Time flies when you're having fun?" For example reading a good, compelling book, or listening to your favorite music? This happens because you're in the " visual" or "creative" mode of thinking. This mode of thinking disregards time and converts what you see into pictures and feelings in your mind."

It makes quite a bit of sense in a Zelaron-related way, too, doesn't it? So, in the end, just stay with Zelaron and let your creativity flourish as you're writing new posts and replies.
