Well...the story is short, but it has multiple endings and you can make a lot of choices during the game.
It's an action game, however, your character won't have stats improvement throughout the game. The only things that get improved is your weapons. (And there are a lot of them.)
Different weapons have different moves, different attack/defend, +life, (Well, they can all improve to the same max value...so moves would be the unique thing.) And more importantly you can choose a previously used weapon upon starting a new game.
The graphics are not as good as those in OniMusha, Devil May Cry, etc...but it's acceptable. And too bad it doesn't have voices, only music and sound effect. (The sound effect and music are well done, though.)
I found it quite fun...
