Exclamation StarCraft a possible rip off??
Reply

Ever notice how Aliens and starcraft are so similiar??
Even things people say in Aliens is in Starcraft.

In Aliens (The second movie) the lady that pilots the drop ship says the exact same thing as the pilot for the dropship in starcraft.

Hicks also say's "Stay Frosty" (My fav quote. ) and so does Jim Raynor from StarCraft...

Can we say... stolen ideas....

Hehe starcraft has a lot of rip offs, and there really meant to be obvious, sige tanks say "whats your major malfunction" from full metal jacket, high templars say "use your illusion" a guns and roses album, there are a lot more, but im not going to go click all the units to death to post for you =D

Warhammer 40K has similar races as well. Terrans are replaced by the Chaos Space Marines, Zerg are replaced by the Tyrannid, and finally, Protoss are overtaken by the Eldar.

Lol SST owns ass. That's why SC is so much better for SST maps than WC. I don't care about the acting. The part where the Korean guy on Klendathu gets torn to freaking PIECES by like 30 bugs is hot as hell.

Book was better. The soldiers from the movie sucked. Even with their modern weaponry, our current day army would wipe the floor with them because the SST movie's soliders used tactics that appeared to be made by a moron on crack. In the book the soliders had even better equipment and weren't made to look like fricking idiots.

If anyone has seen the Animated Series of SST then you would know that they added a new race of species that have a innane resembalance to Protoss... and apparently their also partially telepathic... =\

Its like the SC novels the marines in the game suck but in the book they can do all this shit making them live longer.

That's true... the cruisers acted as carriers too, launching wraith squadrons, dropships, ferrying marines to targets... Ghosts used stimpacks...

If only ghosts had stimpacks in the game. Then they'd truely rock.

Plus Zerg would capture terran civs and turn them into infested terran instead of infesting a CC and making them like in the game. A overlord would snatch up terran civs and take them back to the hive and make them infested. One other thing is that the zerg created a new zerglin from a dog......I was kinda thinking it was like a normal zergling.
