Maybe people stopped checking to see if the boards were back every 30 minutes after they were down for 3 days? That and the period of inactivity before a member is no longer considered online has been reduced.

It means that when a user signed off before, they were still on the "online" list. They have shortened the time of when the user is considered "offline".

Actually, it doesn't apply when someone logs off, but when they just close their browser. Basicly, before, anyone who had visited in the last hour or so that didn't log off when they were finished was counted as still being online, now it's anyone in the last 15 minutes.

That won't count as total time online tho right? Only count as user online.

Online time is...by refreshing, visiting different pages, etc right?

The Way VB works is when anyone (Members or guest) View the board and are looking around. It will log them as "Online"

When they close there Browser it will still show them as Online for the amount of time that Zelaron has specified.

Its like this. You go on Zelaron and are looking around the site and posting, having fun Then you have to hmm do the dishes and you close the browser and get offline. Well, it will show you online for the amount that WW or Chruser decides it to be till you are finally shown Offline.
Just Give me a blank Document in Winsyntax and tell me what you want

And when you are marked as offline, the new post markers are reset. The time online hack may or may not include this extra time, ask Chruser.

It's all thanks to the Zeus server, baby.
It's a horrible piece of software IMHO. Apache runs a lot faster.

Somebody set us up the bomb.

And Zeus does suck ass. I've ran better servers off Mandrake.
