The Atlantic hurricane season is officially from 1 June to 30 November. There is nothing magical in these dates, and hurricanes have occurred outside of these six months, but these dates were selected to encompass over 97% of tropical activity. June 1st has been the traditional start of the Atlantic hurricane season for decades. However, the end date has been slowly shifted outward, from October 31st to November 15th until its current date of November 30th.

What is a Hurricane?

A hurricane is an intense, rotating oceanic weather system that possesses maximum sustained winds exceeding 119 km/hr (74 mph). It forms and intensifies over tropical oceanic regions. Hurricanes are generally smaller than storms in mid-latitudes, typically about 500 km (311 miles) in diameter. At the ocean’s surface, the air spirals inward in a counterclockwise direction. This cyclonic circulation becomes weaker with height, eventually turning into clockwise (anticyclonic) outflow near the top of the storm. IT'S HURRICANE SEASON!! What is a Hurricane?

Hurricane is a lv 30 Druid skill from the elemental tree.
It gives synergy to Arctic Blast, Cyclone Armor, Twister and Tornado, but only receives synergy from Cyclone Armor, Twister and Tornado.

It basically creates a force of wind that surrounds your character while you stay in the calm eye. The damage it does is cold damage meaning it can be very easily resisted in PvP, comparing to Tornado.

I love hurricane season. My company and I in particular thrive when they make land fall and devastate lives and homes. Sad, but true. Katrina was fucking awesome!
