Actually, pure fusion, such as that which happens in the sun, is not a radioactive process.

Edit: WetWired informs me I may be wrong. I am not convinced, but I'll look into it. Sorry if I have misinformed.

Edit #2: The disagreement seems to be more semantic than anything.
