How to tell someone is here for a "quick fix"

I've noticed that people who have "New" in their name only come here to post once or twice...or anything along those lines...noob, n00b, |\|00|3, newguy, noobie, nooby, or any derivitive thereof. They should be given a notice after a time of say...6 months of no activity. If, after 3 attempts (18 months), then their account can be deleted. The reason for this is because, I don't know about you guys, but I peruse the members list sometimes, and I find it hard to believe that there are 149 pages of members that still post here. It would probably save some server space as well. If this can't be done...then that sucks...if it can, then that can give more casual users a more exact number of people who come here.

Also people who advertise something usually put what they are advertising in their name. The most recent is the quick link guy. We will NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER hear from him again...they just waste time and space...

Anyways...these are just a few thoughts runnin through my mind right now...

I agree with u. They should be deleted.
Out in this cold hearted world is a warm sense that comes from only one. It is true cause his name states what kind of person he is. With honor comes glory and with glory comes GLORY GAMER

People come back after being gone for years, if we delete all of the old accounts that might stop happening.

Seconded. Also, storing names doesn't really take that much server space :P

How about just get rid of those that have been banned for one post of advertising, or those that signed up, and didn't come back?

There should be some kind of agreement during signup that the person will make, say, 10 posts in 2 weeks to "perm" their account. That's not even 1 post per day. That would eliminate these 1 or 2 post accounts from hanging around. Also, if you only went through and deleted any accounts with less than 5 posts you wouldn't be deleting anyone's account that would be coming back.
