Anyone have any ideas for some 2vs2 strategies that we can employ when the playlist is released?
I'm guessing ascension will be one of the maps so i'd say probably get the sniper at the small tower since it constantly respawns and grab the rockets and have the rockets protect the guy with the sniper and just hole up over there.
At Ivory Tower holding the top for the sniper could also be a viable strategy since the rockets are just a stone throw away.
All in all i think basically holding the rifles and rockets will be the key. I dont think the sword will be as effective due to the lack of targets.
yeah if what you said is true about them changing the weapon sets on some of the maps then the combo will be gone and that would have been the only real threat on any of the maps you mentioned above. now you will just have to watch out for them throwing grenades from afar because dam they hurt.

i think the person with rockets get the shotgun on ascension and sit crouched at the foot of the small tower ... then when they come around the corner to kill the sniper they will get a shell in the head .... i have goten alot of my kills doing that at ascension b/c its a place where alot of ppl go.
for ivory .... i think a good place would be the ramp with the overshield ... i have seen a team hold that ramp the whole game... and the rockets are just around the corner ... and with the sniper having a shotgun or sword for the short range fighting ..it would be difficult to take that area...
i also think that warlock will be a 2 vs 2 map ... the only thing i can say about that is get both shotguns and sit under the center platform where the handguns are and just wait till they come through and blast the hell out of them!!!!!

the shotguns are on a time respawn at warlock though... i think that map will just be whatever team is better because there really isnt any strong point or strong weapons to control
