Dude. YOu're dumb.

The subs you have are OK, but go for more speakers. You need to get a box built, and modified. You need the wiring exact. You cant just ' do it yourself '. I recomment getting all the shit ( the wood for the box, the wires, the electric tape ), and going to first a Mechanic(with all the things in the trunk) and ask for advice. Ask them what the dimensions of the box have to be, and ask them how much everything will cost (wiring setup, etc)... Go to your schools Woodshop teacher, ask him if you can pay him like 30$ to build the box, and get it all specified. If not, have fun doing it yourself. Systems are expensive as fuck. Not everything can be done on Paypal, sorry buddy, but you screwed yourself on this one : \.

I think you should get a new Stero, not just speakers and amps and stuff, but get the little shit first, then go for the bigger shit that cost more. Buy some Neons, buy the cop-radar. Buy the cop-receiver(receives messages sent from police to police, its fun for watching Gang fights, or robberies, or things like that :P). Save up for a tune-up, to get ubar miliage, and make sure you have pleanty of $$$ to get oil changed every so months.

Dont just think it will be like building a computer. A car is a palace, which i know not that much about, but its a lot harder than you think owning a car. Well, pimping it out. (Btw, my knowledge about pimping out cars goes just a little more than the average Pimp My Ride watcher has, not really, i know a little more than that). Ask D3V, hes pretty knowledgable. Even though u have him, hes pretty cool when it comes to vehicles.

If you REALLY want to make it pimpin, get a Metallic paintjob, or a sun-changing paintjob.

I meant buy all the speakers, subs, tweeters, and leave the wiring and installation to the custom audio place down the street.

Why is this impossible? My friend built his own sound system and it's pretty badass.

It's fine to do yourself if you actually know how. But since koas is a lazy basterd I don't think that's going to happen.
koas you need an amp, a deck, and speakers, the woofer/s(which you have). That's a basic system.

Make sure that the amp you buy, has enough output to properly power your subs, and speakers. I'd suggest going to a Best Buy or something and takling to them about it all as if your going to buy something... which amp should you get for your subs, and the speakers you want, ect.

I've been liking the AW12Q's I think they're called, by Audiobahn. They're 12" subs, fiber glass cone, rubber surround, 700W RMS... They sound really nice and go for a good price at 96.00 each. In my front I have two 6.5" Sony xPlode 4-way speakers (meaning it has the cone for bass + 3 tweeters), in the back I have Pioneer 6x9 4-ways (because Pioneer 6x9's are fucking awesome, I'm never changing them!!) and I have a HiFonics 400W RMS 2ch amp powering half my speakers on one channel, the other half on the other channel, and I am soon getting two Audiobahn 800-1000W RMS amps I haven't decided yet, that's the only thing I have left to buy. One for each sub. When you get your amp make damn sure it has circuit protection (ie blowout, feedback, etc) and one or two air intake intercooling fans to keep it from overheating. Oh yeah, also make sure you have at least 1/4 of an inch underneath your amp when you bolt it down to allow more air flow to keep it cooler. Be sure to keep the top and sides of it clear of any objects.

Maybe tonight we'll fly so far away... We'll be lost before the dawn...
