smiter weapon

Hi guys

Anyone have a idea on what weapon is best for smiters ?
weapon and shield combo.

I was thinking of 6socket phase socket with 4 x ber and 2 x um.
im sure someone has already thought of an idea like that or have tried it.

Please tell if it is a good idea or not.
If not please suggest other weapons.

The lacerator ax for the 35% amp, my friend uses it and he pwned me in like 3 seconds.

A 'Silence' Phase Blade was always a favorite back in .09, due to the Phase's base attack speed and the good mods on 'Silence'.

The Amplify Damage on the Lacerator does sound like a very viable weapon also.

I wouldn't waste the ber's,rather I would shop around for Silence runes. HEre are the stats:
Silence 6 Socket Weapons Dol + Eld + Hel + Ist + Tir + Vex 200% Enhanced Damage
+75% Damage To Undead
Requirements -20%
20% Increased Attack Speed
+50 To Attack Rating Against Undead
+2 To All Skills
All Resistances +75
20% Faster Hit Recovery
11% Mana Stolen Per Hit
Hit Causes Monster To Flee 25%
Hit Blinds Target +33
+2 To Mana After Each Kill
30% Better Chance Of Getting Magic Items

Otherwise I would go for a 5 Ohm 1 Um phase blade.

why ohms ? i thought Enhance damage on weapon dont help smite damage at all...

Heheh whoops. Thought you were going for seperate wep damage. Make that 2 ohm, and 4 ber.
