General/Summary:
This title is an excellent mix of rpg like adventure and action and classic streets of rage style combat.

Officially this is an rpg, and it is but it revolutionizes the way rpg combat is implemented, this game has many similarities to the streets of rage series in the way you attack foes.

In other ways its just like the Diablo series, i havn't played them so i can't comment but from what i've seenm its also quite like baldur's gate 2 in terms of graphics and gameplay.

Despite the strength in combat system, this game has serious weaknesses, if these were addressed im sure this would have been the best rpg since final fantasy 7.

Gameplay:
Simple baldur's gate style gameplay expcept to attcak foes you repeadadly click your mouse button (or whatever) You control all aspects of combat, unlike other rpgs when u click on the eenemy and they automatically fight.

The game features an array of skills which you can upgrade and the usual rpg stats. To upgrade weapons you use gems, and theres an array of potions and thgrowing weapons too. One major setback is the fact you never actually collect new weapons this takes a key rpg element away and seriously limits the game.

Levels are detailed but you can't enter building which also limits the game......but adds to the quick and action packed feel to the game.

I've heard it said the 3 characters arn't equal.....well name an rpg inwhich characters are! I would say each character can easily match the others....just depends on your playing style, i prefer the female warrior due to her speed and agility.

The nature of the game is action packed, combat is usually against 8 or 9 enemy and overcoming them is a most satisfying affair, the combat also has a heavilt tactical element with dodge techniques, special skills and various items...while not deducting from the action.

I would say this game has the best combat system of any rpg, on any system ever.

Graphics:
Ok other reviews say they have a hand drawn feel to them, well yes they do but that still doesn't escape the fact they are comletly rubbish!!!

the grahics are seriously limited and look as if they are from baldurs gate 1!

No its not my graphics card....just look at the game specs an you'll see.

Sound:
A good soundtrack which adds to the atmosphere of the game, really nothing special though.
