Final Fantasy Chronicles and Anthology are both two disk sets. Anthology has FF5 on one disc, and FF6 on the other. Chronicles has FF4 and Chrono Trigger. I would STRONGLY recommend picking up both.
yes, i would have strongly recommended 2 of those games if they were separate but they apparently arent... I say, FF5 and FF4 isnt THAT good so when u DO pick up both, play Chrono Trigger and FF6/3 Chrono Trigger really kicks ass, i think thats the best game that Square ever made so far. I just hope FF11 is going to be good.
FF6, or FF3 as I like to call it, since FF6 is the Japanese version, is the best FF game out there, but that's probably just what I think.

Get the FF Chronicles version. It has about 13 animated cutscenes in the game (done by the same animators that do Dragonball Z) as well as a number of other bonus options that you unlock through playing the game. I own both the SNES cartridge and the Chronicles version, and it's totally worth it.
FF4 was awesome. You cannot say that it sucked. And, yes, FF6 is awesome too. Chrono Trigger can't be the best game made by Squaresoft. Though it was good, Square made the FF games.

I actually need to get around to playing through Chrono Trigger again. I've got almost all of the Chronicles bonus material unlocked, and I need to beat it once more to get the rest of it.
Chrono Trigger IS a 1337 game, I say... I liked how the characters looked, the story, their Abilities, their attributes... I think Chrono Trigger was one of the best games that Square made.
Chrono Trigger is, in my opinion, the best RPG ever made... most solid gameplay and story and well as great play time. And as for taco's crappy question: Yes. As for an alternative: ROMS. It seems you've lost your touch for finding copyrighted material.
